Michael Haymes, B.Sc., FRICS gained his honours degree in 1975 and in the following year he was elected to associate membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.  

For the initial six years of his career he was engaged in various private practices. Then, in 1979, based on his years of knowledge and experience, Michael established his own private practice in Carlisle and has been involved with an extensive range of projects including local authorities, private housing, housing associations and commercial and industrial developments.
